May is busy month for me. I have so many photoshoot start from engagement until Wedding day photoshoot. Thank you God for the blessing and because of that i can meet so many couples and see their love through my camera.

Let me introduce her, one of my client: Olive. She’s my friend at campus and yes trust me to capture her precious moment with her fiance: Harly.

She asked me to create red scrapbook layout because she will use the scrapbook as a decoration (sweet corner) at her engagement day.

So i say yes i can do it and start to gather red scrap stuff.

So hard to find red papers, so i decide to mix some brands in this layout. I use Pebbles, Crate Paper; Fourteen, Fancy Pants, MME, American Craft, Heidi Swapp.

I always choose my colors palette according to my photos. So i choose red, black, and gray.

I use those gray stripes paper by Heidi Swapp as my background and splatters some red mist by Mister Huey’s randomly. Those red tags are from Crate paper; fourteen and i combain with black polka frame from Fancy Pants.

I emblish my layout using a flower and butterfly (AC and MME)to get feminine looks.

To pop up the photo i use layering technique. I mix red polka paper by Imaginesce with black frames from Fancy Pants. Red and black are perfect combination for love theme layout! I use 6x9cm for the photos size.

Last i use ‘you+me=love’ as a tittle in this layout by Crate Paper; Fourteen.

Time to share one of my fav cafe at Bali: Putih Pino. I took this picture at 2012. I came here with my lovely hubby by motorcycle from our hotel at Legian-Bali to Sanur-Bali, Indonesia. Takes 30 minutes by motorcycle to go there and don’t forget to use some sun block or the sunlight will burn your skin!

I wanna go to this cafe because so many Surabaian people love taking a prewedding picture in here. I open google and try to find the location, hardly to find this cafe better you ask local people if you already at Sanur-Bali.

I love the ambience in this cafe! I love every single details of this cafe, feels like i’m not in Indonesia but Mexico or somewhere outside my country.

I love the decoration of this cafe start from the front door til the toilet! Soft and clean better you visit this place by your self!

I think this cafe open at 10 am and they still sell breakfast menu. Because of that I order the banana pancake with honey sauce and yup love it and super yum! But i think the price lil bit expensive for breakfast menu.

Look at the floral vintage floor! They are so pretty and unique aren’t they?!

The cafe smaller than you think and if you wanna go here i recommen you to see the second floor and have fun there!

Hey everyone, how’s your last week? Today i’m so happy because finally Mr. Rain is coming so enjoy my day and sipping my hot coffee. Talking about last week i didn’t have much time to do so many NSD challenges so i just created two layouts. Anyway this layout i created last month but forgot to publish it here on my blog, studio calico or two peas.

I create this layout to highlight my food photo using iphone and instagram. I mix Fourteen, DIY Shop and Maggie Holmes collection by Crate Paper.

Stitching is one of my fav technique. Time consuming but i love it! I stitch the photos border using green twine.

I use clothes pins by Crate Paper to hang the photos. I mix green and yellow with pink and gray and love the final result.

Yes yes i’m falling in love with the cuty ribbon from Maggie Holmes – Crate Paper and i use it to emblish my blocking layout.

You can see i still use orange mist by Mister Huey’s and splatters it randomly and i still do the layering.

The last one is chipboard! I love using chipboard very fun and they give some volume to my layout.

In this layout i play with so many colors, mix green, yellow, pink, orange, gray and brown. So colorful and summery!

Time to create a layout and mix some of your new or old collection and don’t forget to use more than two colors as your color theme.

Back again with me, Evelyn Pratiwi Yusuf. I create this layout for Crate Style at Crate Paper’s blog.  I’m so excited with the new collection, The Pier. The color scheme is a perfect fit forscrapbooking memorable Summer moments like beach picnics and poolside parties. I’m literally falling in love with every single sheet of patterned paper and the embellishments. To be totally honest, I can’t stop myself from creating Summer layouts with the fresh goods. Lately, it’s been one layout after the next!

In regards to my Crate Style peachy-pink, summertime layout, I went the way of pastel colors to prop-up my colorful photo, captured by my husband a number of years ago. The pretty combination is airy, light and very Summer-ish; pink, yellow, tan, peach and gold.

This was my first time writing a Summer quote on a photo before printing it; “Life is a beach, I’m just playing in the sand” Let me tell you, I love the way it turned out and how it allowed me to focussolely on the layout’s “more fun” elements. You’ve a couple of options for adding journaling to your photo’(s). The obvious isPhotoshop, though you might not of thought of this next one – the readily accessible iPhone or Android device. Yep, there’s all kinds of free apps out there for adding text to your photos! Some are better than others though, so do your homework

I created the background using gold, yellow and peach mist. I randomly added splatters throughout the layout. After that, I layered and mixed patterned papers along the top and bottom. I love this sort of layering technique – looks easy, doesn’t it? The key to pulling it off is coordinating a group of papers that match with your layout’s color palette. The hard part, stopping yourself from layering paper after paper. Too much paper equals unnecessary bulk. Limit them layers!

I finished decorating the layout using washi tape trimmed from The Pier’s washi paper. I then added tags, chipboard accents and stand-out stickers, all from The Pier’s embellishment collection. There’s even a few floating flowers, which I think are cute and fresh!

And there you have it, just one of my many “Pier” layouts! I highly recommend checking out the new collection upon it’s release at your favorite scrapbook store – see you next month with more Summer happiness!

INSD is coming and i’m so excited to do some challenges. I visit American Crafts blog and Monagee’s blog; Incorporate White Shape. This is my layout to join the challenge. I create a 12×12 layout using white space and do the layering and misting.

Using My Girl as a background, AC white cardstock, Dearlizzy stamp and layer sticker, Amy Tangerine Yes Please, Crate Paper – Maggie Holmes and blue mist by Studio Calico.

I do the layering and you can see the ‘remember this’. I stamp it around the photo to create my own background using dear lizzy stamp and blue ink by versamark.

Today i create some layouts for my client and for INSD challenges and hope i can join all of it!

Been a week i eat a healthy food. I try to be healty so i consume vegetables without any dressing or taste as my breakfast. I eat rice for lunch and as a dinner i try to eat fruits. My tummy sometimes refuse it but i try to be focus and stay on my ‘healthy’ plan. No more fried food, junk food, instant food such ah instant noodle and i try to say good bye to caffein. But the last thing is the hardest.

I’m a big fans of coffee and tea.  I drink tea every morning and drink coffee while i’m working or have some meeting with my photography clients.

Why i do this?

Because i realize i have to do it. Plus i wanna have a sexy body at list minus 5 kg each month will be enough for me. Still ok to me to eat something yum but not to much.

Beside that i try to sleep well. Have to off to bed before 10pm but yeah I’m such a owl person.

Hope i can do this until the end of the year. Amin.

My friend asked me to create a long distance layout. He wanna give this layout to his girlfriend at airport when she come back from China to Indonesia. He caption her picture while he was chatted with her using skype and give it to me to scrap it. So this is what  i can do. Still playing with color collage: pink! I gather the supplies, American Crafts, Dear Lizzy, Webster, Amy Tangerine,MME and Studio Calico.

Crate my own background using 2 mists by Studio Calico. I mix boss lady and pretty pink and apply it in white background still by Studio Calico Here and There.

I use black ink and stamp it using Amy Tangerine’s clear stamp to give bold color in this layout.

Still do the layering and playing with stickers, clothes pin, wood veneer and washi tape.

I print a nice quotation about long distance relationship and hope she like it ^^.

So, as you know, yellow is my favorite color amongst other bright colors, but for today, I decided to go the more “neutral” route – black. Yes, there’s also a hint of grey. I gathered all of the supplies from both DIY Shop and Fourteen. So, you might be wondering, why choose this color? Because I wanted to create a layout that was timeless and that best highlighted the feel and theme of the layout; my personal wedding images. In creating it, I played with gesso by applying it to the background; white cardstock. After that, I sprayed black mist onto the painted area. Because of the gesso, the black mist looks subdued; more gray than black. Finally, I layered tags, cards, chipboard, washi tape, stickers, a flower and black sequins to bring to life the magic of that special day.

I wanna share my ‘pink and yellow’ spread of my project life week 13. I use American Craft – My Girl, Allison Creft – Everyday Ecletic, Teresa Collins, October Afternoon, Basic Grey, Crate Paper, MME, and Studio Calico.

I still love to decorate my project life with some emblishment but maybe in the next PL you gonna see the minimalist one and not so many photos inside. Depend on my mood and how much time i have to do it.

My last PL is about traveling and so colorfull and now i choose only two color pink and yellow to play with. Playing with small photos on PL is super easy and we have so many room to paste our emblishments.

As you can see i play with stamp, stickers as always and some brads. Now i think i can use all of my brads that i’ve had bought for the next PL. Tips for me if you wanna use the new stamp, don’t use it directly to your page. Just try it one or two times on blank paper and after that you can use it and stamp it to your page.  I didn’t do that so that is why it’s look like fade away effect.

You can find so many buttons in this details pictures. I start falling in love with cuty button but yeah so hard to find it here and i have to use it wisely. Lately i become flair maniac, i just buy some but never use it. What about you? Better you use it and paste it to your PL page and trust me the result gonna be super cute!

Hey everyone long time no see. I’ve been so busy this week, many things to do! Thank you God i can finish it all.

Anyway my friend Jane asked me to make a layout for her parents. She asked me to make a layout about wedding anniversary, she wanna give the layout to her parents as a gift.

So when she emailed me some photos about her parents I’m amaze. There are so many pics about them mostly capture about their journey together at Kanaan and yes she also gave me the old photos of them when they are young.

I don’t have any idea what i’m going to do with all of the photos. She asked me to make it bright and colorfull not to vintage.

To get some inspiration i visit twopeasinabucket and i decide to make one color layout (Twopeas April Focus) and it’s time to play with pink!

Recently i make my own color background using mist. I use boss lady by Studio Calico and spray it randomly. You can see i still playing with sticker by Crate Paper and some brads by MME.

I use pink pastel flower by Prima Market and i choose to print some words than use my hand writing.

So hard to choose which photo i’m going to use. She sent to me more than 30 photos and i choose 4 photos which represent the moment most and of course i choose the old photo and highlight it.  I emblish it with doilies, chipboard by Crate Paper DIY SHOP, and printed words.

Can you tell me what love is? Sometimes easy for me to answer it but after see their romantic pictures so hard for  me to explain about love. They are such a romantic couple wife and husband traveling together to Kanaan to renew their wedding vows. I think love is not just me and you but more about what we can do together and committed to it until the end. No matter how old we are, no matter how hard life is but still live together and have fun with the time. Devoted forever!

I hope I can live my marriage with my husband like them.
